Walks Like Rihanna Music Video! (Personal Opinion)

So I just watched the music video for WLR and I have to say I LOVE IT! It fits the song so well and I love how unique it is. It really is something new from the boys and it just works. I laughed and smiled through the whole video. It was fun and I will watch it again and again. I like how it brings out the personalities of the boys and the song itself.

This music video was awesome and I love it so so much! I can say this was something that gave me a lot of relaxation and a stress free feeling as I go into my last final tonight. Just watch the video before my final and I will be smiling through even the toughest math problems! :D Good job boys! Really love this video! I loved seeing the boys having a fun time and it just was a video that stands out from all the rest! Totally worth the wait and cannot wait to get the single off iTunes on June 23rd!

So here is my full feelings on Walks Like Rihanna now that i have had time to listen to it a couple times and really think about the song. I like it because it’s something different as said in my last post and it is very catchy. I know though this song may cause some people to think that TW is going more mainstream and into pop like 1D. I do not believe that is the case at all.

I feel the third album is still going to have songs like “Heart Vacancy” and “I’ll Be Your Strength” and so on. I feel that is why this album has been taking so long, is they want their album to have a mix of different styles in it. I know a ton of people may not like this song and say it’s bubblegum pop and is very mainstream and is kinda like a 1D song, but that is your opinion and I respect it. I do not agree with it, but everyone is okay with having an opinion :)

Like I Found You, I really was not into the song that much when it first came out, I couldn’t get the chorus or much of the song but after much time I grew to love the song. I think WLR will be a really good summer song, by the time the album comes out we will be ready for some new music and so on.

What matters most to me is seeing the boys reaction to when we get to hear it, they were so excited about the preview and now they are happy about it’s first time being played on the air. I actually care more about the boys having a good time and being happy about the new single then anything else. They took the time to get this song done and now that it’s out on the radio and will be on iTunes soon, it’s a huge accomplishment. This is the first single to drop since IFY in November of last year too.

Overall I like the song and I cannot wait for the music video. I also cannot wait for the new album. I want Nathan’s voice to heal up soon, the boys to be able to perform and have a lot of fun and the new album to be epic. I know the twfanmily is super awesome and I respect all of your opinions on this new song :)

So E! showed a 30 second preview/trailer of The Wanted Life today and let’s just say I liked it. I mean it makes me so much more excited about it coming June 2nd. Of course, it’s making the fanmily incredibly excited and I am right there with everyone else. I feel like this will be a great little series that E! has and it lets us see what the guys did in LA and everything. :) so that was cool.

Ah I stayed up till midnight to hear the premiere of “Walks Like Rihanna” and here is what I think of it! Oh my goodness it was so so so good! It is so different from “Glad You Came” and “I Found You” and it’s such a summer hit! :) I really like how different it is and its extremely catchy! :) So proud of the boys for making such a great song, and also I can see a lot of people warming up to this song. It’s just all around amazing and I love it! GOOD JOB BOYS! :D

So I have heard the 30 seconds of TW’s new single and of course it is something super new to listen to. It is nothing like what I have heard. Okay, not going to lie though, the title is a little odd and when I first heard about this I was skeptical. Honestly though, this song may be really really catchy. I remember when we heard the first bit of I Found You and not many people liked it, but then they grew to love it.

Also another thing I am seeing is the amount of fanmily members who are disappointed with the song. I understand you may of not been expecting that (I know I wasn’t), but we only got to hear 30 seconds, at least give the full version in June a shot. :) This was the same scenario with I Found You and honestly that is a song that everyone learned to love. Yes, of course I want them to do more songs like “Golden”, “Heart Vacancy” and “Replace Your Heart” etc etc. I think those songs will be more on the album, also the boys may just be changing it up for a bit and seeing if they like a different style.

Another thing that I have to say did not make me too happy was the fact that fans are saying America changed them for the worst and they are copying 1D and so on and so forth. The boys came to the US to work on the album and do a couple shows and have a nice time, it did not change them I believe they are still the silly and lovely guys that we know. They are not trying to copy 1D, I think more or less they are experimenting with their style and that is totally okay. So please, it really sucks when people are saying this song is bad when we still haven’t heard the full version yet and they are saying that the US changed them for the worse.

This single may not be one of my favorites and I am willing to accept that. I am going to support the boys regardless and get it off iTunes and listen to it and probably will grow to like it and love it. I am not going to say anything negative about this single since I only heard 30 seconds, but just going to wait to hear the full version. The boys are doing a lot for us and I know we are just craving a new album, but it will all come soon :)

This was not a bash at anyone in the fanmily or the fanmily. I am apart of this amazing fanmily and was just stating how I feel about all this. :) Please do not judge me or hate me for what I have to say, I think it’s totally acceptable to express how I feel about the new single. :)

A friend of mine passed away today.

This is a personal post, but i really needed to say this because it’s just something that has never happened to me until now. Thank you for reading and understanding why I will not be on for a while. xx

I have never lost someone close until today. She was apart of my group on a retreat that I helped out with, last year on a cold February weekend… I was her secret friend and was guiding her through a weekend of being with God and knowing you’re not alone. She was truly an incredible person who opened up to me and it was amazing. I remember the last day having group pictures with her and the other girls and all of us being so close and smiling.

A while ago someone posted that she was in the hospital and for all of us to pray. I knew she would be strong and be okay. Today I got the news that she had passed away and not only had I lost a friend, but my high school had lost a truly amazing person. I don’t know how to feel right now, I am going to take time for myself though and let the emotions run through me.

Christa, you were an amazing person and so many people love you dearly. I will miss you and so many others will. You are now an angel with God and I know you’ll be looking over everyone. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for changing my life and so many others.
